Flight Technical Engineer


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.


  • Monitors and ensures that the performance data used in the takeoff/landing charts,  Flysmart and SPS are accurate and updated.
  • Evaluates aircraft operations into new and existing airports at the same time providing recommendations as to operational capability.
  • Conducts analysis, research, calculation and evaluation of the performance data for the new aircraft.
  • Validates the degradation data for each aircraft.
  • Monitors and ensures that the weight and balance used by the Flight Deck Crew and Load Controllers are updated.
  • Provides weight and balance training to Flight Deck Crews and Load Controllers/airport personnel.
  • Analyses and investigates incidents/accidents involving aircraft loading/weight and balance and prescribe recommendations to ensure non-recurrence of such incident/accident.
  • Ensures that the manuals on board the aircraft are updated.
  • Monitors current revision of the manuals in the Manufacturer’s Website (Airbus World, ATRDocs).
  • Ensures that the Flysmart Ops Library and SPS Content Locker are updated.
  • Ensures that the customized aircraft manuals are accurate and updated.
  • Studies and researches on new CAAP, FAA, EASA or aircraft manufacturers directives or regulations affecting aircraft operating procedures; recommend and initiate steps necessary to comply with the directive or regulation.
  • Conducts ocular inspection and obstacle survey of existing and prospective airports.
